Thirty-Second Flutter [Video/Action for Ponies]

[The Pokegear turns on, and hurray, it's Fluttershy! She's waving nicely as she holds the gear, Ditto snuggled up in her lap. She's sitting on her bed, surrounded by... a lot of eggs.

Seriously, a lot of eggs.

Like over one hundred eggs. Sweet Celestia.]

Hello, everypony... I mean, everyone... Um, well, I thought I'd try to be a little more helpful today... so I'm here for two things. First, my Ditto... um... it kind of got really friendly with my friend's Pokemon, and, well... we have some eggs we'd like to sell. We've got... [She pauses, and then counts on her fingers. Can a Ditto look smug?] ...Charmander, Chikorita, Squirtle, Ponyta, Vulpix, Dratini, Abra, Heracross, Magnemite, Munchlax, Sigilyph, Snivy, Larvesta, Golett, Growlithe, Drifloom, Turtwig, Eevee, Sudowoodo, Pinsir, Skarmory, Beldum, Smeargle, Togepi, Happiny and Treecko... is that all of them?

[Ditto nods. Fluttershy smiles, and then she continues.]

And second... I just wanted to remind everyp-body, that I can talk to Pokemon, and I understand what they're saying. So if you need me to talk with them about anything, I'm always available to listen.

(As she promised, Rainbow Dash pops in with a confident grin...that soon turns into a facefault at seeing eggs.

Lots. And. Lots. Of eggs.)

'Sup, Flutters? Thought I'd see how things were going and...!

(A beat. Take a picture of Rainbow's expression, Fluttershy; it might never look this way again.)

Wha-wha-wha...what the hay happened?!!

[is that Ditto grinning? ... That ditto is grinning.]

I, um... I think... Ditto really wanted to help out...?

(She barely even realizes that Ditto was grinning, having lost count of how many eggs there were after...30, at least.)

...That's great and all, but we've got over 50 eggs! Besides Blaze, Daring, Tank, Dash and Tails...how many of our Pokemon helped out?! Or is that 'including?'

Well, three of mine helped out... and I think a lot of Twilight and Applejack's pokemon did too... We all have a lot of Pokemon, so...

In other words, we brought in a big haul when we offered our Pokemon?

(She's staring at Ditto in disbelief and surprise...and that same expression on her face. She'll never doubt this Pokemon's ability again.)

I guess so. The more Pokemon we have, the more eggs we can get.

[And just to be a pain in the butt, Ditto begins copying Dash's expression.]

(Under normal circumstances, Dash might find that funny. Not at the moment, as her expression changes from surprise to looking annoyed.)

[Ditto gives a wet raspberry. FS sighs.]

We've gone over this... it's not nice to make fun of others.

(Dash is totally encouraging Ditto's behavior, leaning in close and returning the raspberry in kind. First Fluttershy's Murkrow, now this?)

...That's how it's gonna be, huh? You're not the only trickster-mon in town, pal!

(Dash is reaching for a Pokeball, one of her latest eggs having hatched quite some time ago. After getting used to her newest team members, she's yet to discover names for some of them...this one in particular.)

[Dammit guys. Fluttershy flails a little, trying to put a stop to this, while Ditto is still copying Dash movement for movement.]

W-wait, I'll just put him back in his Pokeball, it's okay!

(Action)

(Hope Fluttershy remembers when Pinkie literally had over 1/2 the cider during Cider Season and kept going on and on and on about how good it was...Dash's expression is close to that one.)

Oh, don't worry Flutters! I'm not gonna hurt the little guy...come on out!

(Zorua appears, blinking a few times and looking around. Ooh, lots of eggs aaaand another Pokemon!)

[Fluttershy groans, doing a face-hoof... er, face palm.]

But, Dash...

[Ditto puffs out its... chest(?), as if to say BRING IT ON.]

But Flutters, your Ditto's asking for payback! A battle's out of the question since you hate fighting, so this is the better choice! Honest.

(Zorua chuckles lightly, leaping up in the air, seeming to vanish in a ball of light and reappearing...while looking just like Dash.)

...Hey! What did I say about changing to be me?

(Action)

... Rainbow, how is this helping?

[Ditto has started laughing. nice one.]

(Action)

(Rainbow's facepalmed herself, her Zorua literally imitating her while laughing.)

Well...okay, maybe this wasn't one of my better options.

(She sighs while recalling Zorua, the Pokemon barely having time to imitate Dash's annoyed expression for Ditto to see.)

Maybe I should just let Ditto rest in the PC for a while...?

[Ditto begins booing. In Ditto speak.]

...Yeah, that's probably for the best!

(Dash is still holding onto Zorua's Pokeball, sorely tempted to recall her again.)

[fluttershy nods, and though Ditto protests, he's gone in a flash of red light. She sighs in relief.]

I need to work on its attitude...

(Rainbow nods vehemently, putting Zorua's Pokeball away while crossing her arms.)

Where'd you find a Pokemon like Ditto anyway? The PokeDex says all it can do is Transform!

I... well, somepony offered to give me one, when i felt bad about not being a good breeder.

...Oh. Well, you don't have to worry about that now Fluttershy! Your name's gotta be up there with all the top Breeders thanks to this haul.
