Twenty-Fifth Flutter [Video/Action for Ecruteak.]

[The Video turns on because during Fluttershy's sleep-coma, several of her Pokemon have decided to watch over her things. Her Flaafy had been cleaning up the Pokegear and accidentally turned it on. All looks well, as Fluttershy sleeps on a bed in the background...

... and then suddenly sits up right with a yelp.]

Eeeeeeek!

[With that high-pitched yet very silent yell, she jumps out of bed, heads to the window -]

I'm late, I'm late, I'm l -

[And she... JUMPS OUT THE WINDOW. Someone has forgotten she doesn't have wings. Fortunately, they were on the first floor. So when Flaafy, with the Pokegear, heads t the window to look out and see the damage, you all get to see Fluttershy with her body face down, flat on the ground. Ow.]

[That smile? She's not returning it. She fidgets again, very nervous.]

Um... That may not be the only reason... I still had a little trouble with the details, but... Um... He was kind of controlled for a while by somepony...

... Wait what?

[She's saying that a lot today.]

Controlled? Shining? By who? What happened? Did we save him? What about Cadence? What happened to her?

I-It's okay! Shining Armor and the real Cadence defeated them, so everypony is safe, and they got married for real!

The real Cadence? I... Fluttershy, maybe you should start at the beginning.

Mmm... it's kind of a long story... Can we go inside?

[She tugs on Twilight's arm lightly.]

Oh.... I'm sorry, I got caught up in the moment. Yeah, of course we can. And... we should probably get you some new clothes too. You've been wearing those for a while.

[She takes Fluttershy's hand and turns to head for the front door... then, on second thought, just heads over to the window instead. It's still open and climbing back in won't be any more difficult than climbing out.]

[Flaafy moves aside, watching the girls climb back in. Once they're in, the sheep jumps into Fluttershy's arms. She's more than happy to hug and pet the Pokemon, happy to see it too.]

I'm sorry I made you worry...

It wasn't your fault. I'm sure they understand that too.

[She pats Fluttershy's shoulder reassuringly, grinning just a little at Flaafy's antics.]

[She smiles, and sits down, cuddling the electric pink sheep. Happy days.]

... I didn't remember anything about Johto when I went back... But I'm glad I remember it now, even the stuff that hurts. I think... both places are very important to me now. I want to keep all of my memories, no matter what.

I... ["I'm not so sure that's possible" is on the tip of her tongue, but she swallows it back. This is not the time to bring up unpleasant possibilities.]

I can see how that would happen... you've spent a long time here in Johto, after all.

Did anything happen while I was 'gone'...? It feels like I haven't been here in such a long time...

Actually, no. Things have been quiet ever since that incident with the Game Corner.

Which kind of worries me, really. I don't think Team Rocket are the type to stop there, especially since they didn't actually succeed.

... Compared to Discord and the Changelings, the rockets don't seem too scary...

Don't forget, Fluttershy, Discord was a Rocket for a while...

Wait, Changelings?

[Guess it's time for story-telling.]

... They're scary creatures that can take the form of whoever you love, and feed off that love. Their Queen locked Candace away, and pretended to be her.

Wait, you mean... So when you said Shining was getting married to Cadence, he was actually marrying...

[Oh Celestia that is not good.]

But, but we saved him, right? My big brother, he's okay, right? We got him away from her?

[Yes, Twilight, she already told you that.]

[Vigorous nodding!!!]

Yes, he was saved, everything's okay. You found the real Cadence, and their love for each other was so strong, it blasted all the Changelings away... it was absolutely amazing!

That's wonderful! So everything turned out okay in the end, at least.

[Looks thoughtful.] So, when you say it blasted them away, you mean... something like the Elements? Only with love instead of Friendship?

That's right. Shining Armor and Cadance really love each other... Their love is as deep as our friendship.

That's wonderful. I can't think of any two ponies more suited to each other than those two. I couldn't have picked out a better match for him myself.

... Granted, that's at least partly because love really isn't my specialty, but still.

Yeah... you don't have to worry. Bad things will happen to us over the year... but each and every time, we rely on each other, and everything turns out for the best. So there's no need to worry.

I'll keep that in mind. All's well that ends well, right?

[She makes a 'mm-hmm' noise, snuggling her sheep. Happy Flutters is happy.]

I'm sorry if I kept you back from doing anything... With the play over, we can do whatever you want now, right...?

Don't worry, I wasn't planning on going anywhere anyway. Right now the most important thing is training my Pokemon so that I can take on the gyms, and I can do that here in Ecruteak just as well as anywhere else.

[She pauses, and then nods.]

And I... I-I want to train too. I want to... help fight.

[She was hardly able to help kick changeling butt. That needs to change.]
