H-Hello, everypony... I mean, everyone. I just wanted to say something...

A lot of us can't understand Pokemon. But Pokemon can understand us. They can tell when we're angry, or sad, or happy, or frightened... And in time, they understand our language too. After all, a Pokemon wouldn't be able to battle if they didn't know what we were saying.

That said... that means they can also understand insults, and rudeness. So please think carefully before you talk to or around your Pokemon... especially when naming them...

I agree with this! Pokemon shouldn't be subjected to insults or being treated anything less than close friends! They devote their lives to us, we should make sure they're happy too!

Of course we should. Without them in our possession, our time in Johto would be a lot more difficult, dangerous even! How people don't see the necessity of pokémon and only view them as tools never ceases to anger me!

They're able to pick up on absolutely any emotion no matter how well disguised they are and they're always mindful of other people! They really are the best type of people around~!
