Thirty-First Flutter [Video]

 [After a quiet yawn, a delicate hand turns on the Pokegear. Fluttershy is sitting up in bed, cuddling a teddy bear - no, wait, that's a Teddiursa! She looks pretty exhausted, but it's the best she's felt in a while.]

Good morning, everypony... I'm sorry I've been so quiet lately...

[... more-so than usual? er, anyway.]

I, um... I guess you could say I haven't been feeling well... but I'm okay now... In fact, I had the most wonderful dream -

[Fluttershy blinks. Then, slowly, she turns to her side - where Applejack is smiling brightly at her.]

... Sugarcube? You okay? You look kinda - WHOA THERE, DON'T - 

[Whoops, it looks like Fluttershy's about to faint from sheer shock. Applejack lunges to catch her, Teddiursa squeaks at all the sudden movement, and the Gear is dropped during the chaos, turning off.]

[does not compute - she is easily held by her friends, light as a feather, and Teddiursa jumps on the bed to get away from the confusion.]

But... b-but she... it wasn't a dream?

[And then she nearly passes out again.]

--glad? I, uh, are you okay?

[It takes several minutes, but she finally replies, albeit kind of dizzily.]

Um... yes?

Are you sure? Twilight told me you ate those cookies and were really sick.

[And now he's concerned it was more serious than he thought.]

Oh, yes... well... I'm sure this was all one big accident. I'm just glad nopony else ate them.

[Audio]

[Is this another thing that doesn't happen in her world?]

Fluttershy, there wasn't anything accidental about it. Someone deliberately arranged it so poisoned cookies would be passed around near Christmas. He went on the network and gloated afterwards.

[Another long pause. It's perhaps a combination of her pony world and Fluttershy's own kind naive nature.]

But... that doesn't make any sense... why would anypony do that?

[Action] Shall we put TS in between FS and AJ then (RD, FS, TS, AJ)?

[Standing over in the doorway, Twilight sighs and smiles indulgently, letting her two more athletic friends take over the task of holding Shy up.]

If you're talking about Applejack, then no, she wasn't. She's right here with us now. Only Rarity and Pinkie are left.

[Applejack is doing her best to smile. In fact, she's really happy. Fluttershy is awake, and conscious, this time. Still, she can't help but have a worried look on her face.]

I'm right here, sugarcube. You gave us quite the scare.

[He feels sorry for ruining it for her, but Fluttershy can't walk around Johto thinking that no one will do her harm. What would happen if her friends went away and she was left taking care of herself?]

Various reasons. Some people do it to prove their power, others do it because they derive pleasure from causing pain, others because they find it funny... there are many reasons that people are cruel.

[Oh, if only this was the first time someone hurt her... like the time she was robbed... she's an easy target mmmkay]

(Rainbow nodded, genuine relief and worry shone in her eyes while eyeing Fluttershy.)

...I knew you'd be okay right after your Pokemon called out and I realized something was up!

(...Dash, quit denying how you felt. You were just as worried for Flutters, if not more.)

[This is a lot to take in at once. She slowly looks at each pony, then begins to tear up in joy.]

So... so we really are together again? At the same place? At the same time?

[She sits up on her own accord, not sure who to hug first - and completely ignoring the fact she's been sick for days. because FRIENDSHIP.]

[She pushes off from the wall and comes over to kneel down next to the others, patting Shy's shoulder.]

So, how are you feeling?

[So, somebody kinda didn't pay too much attention to the rest of it. He heard 'everypony' and that was all he really needed to hear.]

[She smiles, happier than she's been in a long time... oh right she's being asked something.]

I feel much, much better now! I don't feel too hot or too cold or sick or anything! I just feel so, so happy!
