I'm sorry to hear about that. As long as there isn't anything dangerous back home, though, it just means it might be a little while until you see her, right? [Ritz looks concerned. She doesn't know who Applejack is, but that'd be kind of upsetting for anyone. And it's kind of making her think about her friends from back home.]

I don't have enough friends that I wouldn't cry some if they left. Even if I'm mad at some of them right now, I'd still be upset. If Kuja or Zidane disappeared I'd probably cry. I think, if someone's a friend and you're not upset enough to cry when they leave, especially unexpectedly? If it doesn't hurt to think "I might not see them again for months and months"? They're probably not a good friend. So it's okay to cry.
