Thirty-Second Flutter [Video/Action for Ponies]

[The Pokegear turns on, and hurray, it's Fluttershy! She's waving nicely as she holds the gear, Ditto snuggled up in her lap. She's sitting on her bed, surrounded by... a lot of eggs.

Seriously, a lot of eggs.

Like over one hundred eggs. Sweet Celestia.]

Hello, everypony... I mean, everyone... Um, well, I thought I'd try to be a little more helpful today... so I'm here for two things. First, my Ditto... um... it kind of got really friendly with my friend's Pokemon, and, well... we have some eggs we'd like to sell. We've got... [She pauses, and then counts on her fingers. Can a Ditto look smug?] ...Charmander, Chikorita, Squirtle, Ponyta, Vulpix, Dratini, Abra, Heracross, Magnemite, Munchlax, Sigilyph, Snivy, Larvesta, Golett, Growlithe, Drifloom, Turtwig, Eevee, Sudowoodo, Pinsir, Skarmory, Beldum, Smeargle, Togepi, Happiny and Treecko... is that all of them?

[Ditto nods. Fluttershy smiles, and then she continues.]

And second... I just wanted to remind everyp-body, that I can talk to Pokemon, and I understand what they're saying. So if you need me to talk with them about anything, I'm always available to listen.

[No one is listening to Utau here, but who cares? The Beautifly flies in circles and makes hearts appear by using Attract! Things that she does to make herself even more beautiful, or at least it usually works on other Pokémon.]

And so cute too! I didn't know there were other kinds of butterflies here... I just love butterflies! And you're so precious!

[The butterfly smiles at all these compliments.]

[Should Utau be frustrated by now? Well, she's not. In fact there's a smirk on her face.]

Oh yeah, she's adorable. Until she shows her true nature by savagely attacking other Pókemon and drains energy from them. She wouldn't even need it, because she can restore her energy, but -- [Shrug.] Guess the species like draining it from others. They might attack humans who disturb them too. Not with the energy stuff, but real attacks.

[This girl has flawless social skills, really.]

[That does manage to get her attention. Fluttershy tilts her head a little.]

[A little surprised by the reaction, but not showing it. Shrug.]

No. I got her because of the dex entry and most of that nature should come with all Beautiflies. They're supposed to be aggressive, so what's there to talk about? If I had wanted a tame [it might sound more like 'lame'] butterfly, there's Butterfree for that.

Not every Beautifuly is the same. They all have their own different personalities and traits. If you don't like your Beautifly to be so rough, you could talk to her about it. She wants you to be happy. She can be strong in battle, but she doesn't have to be that way all the time. I bet she'd like to be gentle with you and your friends.

She's fine as she is. [What is admitting that Meikyuu is the most adorable Beautifly ever? :| Hush, she won't admit anything like that. But, the other girl might see her petting the butterfly gently, hear it making a happy sound before it goes back to its usual place - onto Utau's head, between her two pigtails, that is.]

But you have a point, they're all different. If you want one [WHY IS SHE TELLING YOU THIS?!] you can at least catch them at the National Park's Bug Catching Contests.

[Or technically she could breed one for you, but Wurmples are tricky with their two evolution lines... Not going to warn her about that. She'll just catch a Beautifly and that's it.]

[She'll pay P2000 for something that's going to eat even more than she does, and it's going to expensive to buy all the food to it or pay for everything it happens to eat everywhere... Okay. Fine. She wants it anyway.]
